This waterfront, quaint, winterized, 1 ½ storey cottage built in 1998 is set approximately 200 feet from the southern shoreline of the property. It is situated well apart from the other cottage nearby to ensure your privacy. The cottage has an open floor concept with sitting area, fully equipped kitchen, and a 3-piece bathroom with shower on the main floor. The bedroom with a queen size bed and closet space is on the second floor. A barbeque has been provided on the front deck for your use, and there is a separate screened-in porch attached to the deck.
A converted retired coastal Cape Island fishing boat, the Danny Boy 5, is offered as a special service to our guests who require extra sleeping quarters. Originally from Arisaig, Nova Scotia, the Danny Boy 5 is now â??dry dockedâ? on a gravel slip set alongside a beautiful pine forest. The boat is outfitted with a queen-size bed, a 3 piece bathroom and a screened-in porch.The basic rate is for double occupancy and it does not include the provincial sales tax HST of 15%. We have a no pet and no smoking policy.
We offer a refitted fishing boat on dry land as an extra bedroom for extra guest for $50.00/night. This guest boat-room has one bedroom with queen size bed, a bathroom with shower and a screened-in porch. It is conveniently located close to the cottages.
The deposit is not refundable. :The cottage is set approximately 200 feet from the southern shoreline on this waterfront property. A 1 1/2 km walking trail follows the northern and south shorelines of the property and meanders through the woods.
Approximately 8 km north of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, just off Route 337, lays historical Town Point, the original town site claimed in the late 1700â??s by Captain Hierlihy. The 20-acre parcel of land is part of an 80-acre island connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway positioned about 1 km inside the entrance to the Antigonish Harbor. The Mini Trail section of the Sunrise Trail will take you to breathtaking views, beaches, fishing wharves and the Cape George lighthouse along the coast
The town of Antigonish provides all necessary amenities as well as several restaurants. It features many attractions including a summer theater, St. Francis Xavier University and the Coady International Institute, concerts, art galleries, artists studios, the town's Peoples Library and the Highland Games in July.
