The sleeping area is upstairs – an enchanting New York style loft, with a view of Eucalypt canopies through the glass triangle window. It comes with a mosquito net so you can let the night air in.
There is a sizeable living space with a double and single couch.
Outdoor shower amongst the trees, a bath tub and shower inside, toilet, towels and all the shelving you’ll need for your toiletries. Guest Access Guests will have private access to the cabin.
Please feel free to wonder around our 3 acres as you wish. Interaction with Guests If you need any help, advice or assistance Josh, Adrian or Brieann would be happy to help. For your convenience we are in the yurt next door ensuring instant access and attention if needed. The Neighborhood Enjoy a day-long symphony of bird songs, meet the resident Koala (and its bub), possums, tawny frog mouths, echidnas, dragonflies, butterflies and a diverse array of friendly wildlife.
The resident chickens will provide you with eggs for breakfast and the property's border collie will show you how to herd them (the chickens that is).
There is another house on the property. A yurt inhabited by two friendly brothers and their partners. Quiet, helpful and respectful of your privacy. Getting Around Getting to and from The Burrow is a memorable experience in itself. Long before we moved here we used to take scenic Sunday drives along these roads. Friday Hut Road is sublime - often peppered with little roadside stalls selling wildflowers, brown paper bags of garlic and organic vegetables. The only peak hour you’ll encounter is the local Jersey cows during paddock crossings.
Getting into town is a trip – drive through winding corridors of sub tropical rainforest, over expansive valley ranges and sparkling ocean vistas.
15-20mins later you're amongst Byron’s most popular tourist haunts. Once you're maxed out on hustle-bustle, retreat back to the peace and quiet of Possum Creek. Catch the sunset at Coolamon Scenic Drive (the midway home point).
