The Space Welcome to downtown Bellingham, WA, 'the city of subdued excitement'.

Description :: From the street entrance, you will walk up a narrow flight of stairs to get into the apartment. (please note there is NO ELEVATOR...you must be able to walk up stairs.) Simply furnished, the bedroom has a queen sized bed. The sofa bed, in the living room, also pulls out to a queen bed. There are down comforters and pillows. Lots of seating in the living room. There is a full kitchen, if you wish to make your own meals. There is a deck off of the bedroom, which we will set up in a cozy way, when the weather is warmer.
You will be staying on the 3rd floor of a building that also houses a boutique (Texture Clothing) and it's factory.
There is a climbing gym right next door. They are open 24 hours and sometimes the music can be faintly heard. We provide earplugs and most people are happy to use them.
Check In :: After 3pm, but can be negotiated.
Check Out :: 11am.
Wifi :: We offer wifi, but the apartment does not come with a computer, phone or cable tv. if you need to make any calls (to Canada or the US) you can use the phone in the boutique, during business hours.
Parking :: There are parking meters downtown (from 9a-5p M-F $2/day; free on weekends) and there are usually spots available within a block.
Eats/Entertainment :: Our goal is to help you feel comfortable as you explore the town. There are many great restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk. We can point you in the right direction for the best cocktails, gluten free/vegetarian/locally grown food. The Pickford (our indie theatre) is less than a 10 minute walk (URL HIDDEN) is the Mount Baker Theater and the Wild Buffalo - House of Music.
Getting here :: We are located a block from the downtown bus loop, which connects to the Amtrak + Greyhound station, the Bolt Bus drop off, as well as other locations around our sweet town. If you fly, the best way to get here is to take a taxi or uber, which should be about $20. Guest Access Guests will not have access to the washing machine and dryer. Interaction with Guests I just show people in and then let them have the place to themselves and enjoy the town! Guests are always welcome to call or text with any questions or problems they might have. The Neighborhood Downtown Bellingham is really only about 5 blocks by 5 blocks. It's easy to discover what's going on around town. There will be a map in the Penthouse for you to use.
There are walking trails and sweet neighbourhoods and parks to explore on foot or bicycle. Getting Around The (transit) bus station is located directly behind the Penthouse.
Street Parking is .75/hour between 9am & 5pm Monday-Friday. ...
