The Position

The Sales Representative will play an integral role in driving the growth of our customer base and revenue by generating new leads, setting up demos, and conducting meetings with prospective clients. You will be working to understand how data we possess can drive informed business decisions with vacation rental property managers, investment funds (e.g. hedge funds, private equity shops, venture capital firms, etc) and stakeholders in the tourism industry(e.g. hotels, bed and breakfasts, destination marketing organizations, etc).

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Secure new clients
  • Generate leads to build a strong pipeline
  • Engage with prospective clients and develop strong client relationships
  • Grow business within assigned prospect lists, and expand into ancillary types
  • Quickly develop a thorough knowledge of the company
  • Accurately forecast, track, and report revenue
  • Conduct web demos and phone meetings
  • Convince and command on the phone to quickly establish credibility and rapport

 

Skills – Experience & Requirements:

  • Proven sales success, experience in data a plus
  • A grinder with a killer mentality
  • Someone who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone and dial through a database
  • Self-motivated, solution-oriented, results-driven
  • Strong communicator (English is required)
  • Naturally curious
  • Ability to remain focused and flexible during rapid change
