As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be in the front lines of engagement, brand building, and media content production. The ideal candidate is creative, fun, and unafraid to take risks. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create digital content (graphics, videos, GIFs, and more) for the AllTheRooms blog and social media channels)
  • Independently write interesting, funny, and/or engaging copy to promote articles
  • Perform social listening tasks to identify travel and social media trends
  • Consistently update the social media calendar to ensure that strategies are followed and goals are met
  • Assist the team lead in any social-media related efforts

 

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Communications or Marketing (preferred)
  • Expert knowledge of popular social media platforms, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Mix, and Flipboard
  • Familiarity with social media planning and scheduling tools
  • English language fluency, both written & spoken
  • Experience in content creation using Adobe software (i.e. Photoshop, Lightroom) or similar
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • An eye for design and unconventional creativity
  • Bonus: A passion for travel and interest in travel technology

 

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be able to work from the Medellin office for a minimum of 40 hours/week
  • Employment/Education will be verified
  • Ability to start ASAP
