The Cayman Islands are a British territory that extend over three stunning tropical islands in the heart of the Caribbean. Encapsulated by crystal cerulean waters that shimmer beneath the sun, and with coastlines that offer miles and miles of undisturbed perfectly white sandy beaches, the islands make a wonderful tropical escape.
The seven mile beach is one of the most loved places to visit in the Cayman Islands. As the name suggests, this is a phenomenal seven mile stretch of sandy coastline filled with hidden secluded coves, palm tree lined promenades, and breathtaking places to sit and watch the sunset. For a morning hike or cycle, it is pleasant to walk along the length of this beach. As you make your way around the seven mile beach, you pass through different beach settings that offer something for everyone. Some beaches are perfectly suited for families and are home to ample restaurants and stores so travelers will never feel bored. Others are more secluded and quiet - the perfect place for relaxing with a book.
It is possible to rent equipment and enjoy kayaking, boating, snorkeling, stand up paddleboarding and other activities. Camana Bay is one of the best places to stop by on the island for upscale dining and shopping.
December through March is the best time to visit Cayman Islands. The rainfall is at a minumum and the sun will be shining, but your travel expenses may be a bit inflated.
