This single story renovated mid-century beach home is located in a commanding position high above the Kingston Park esplanade and boasting spectacular views of the city and the entire Adelaide coastline from Marino to North Haven.
It is just a short 200m walk down to the water's edge and another few minutes to Kingston Park, Seacliff beach, playground, cafe, and the Surf Lifesaving Club and Seacliff Hotel. There is a huge open space park and playground directly across the road from the house.
The Observatory is a great location for visiting Adelaide city, Brighton, Glenelg, SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre (SAALC), Flinders Medical Centre, Flinders University, McLaren Vale wineries, the south coast, Adelaide Hills, and the Fleurieu peninsula.
The Coastline Observatory is spacious with views of the coast and city from both the living areas and the two main bedrooms. The beach house has been designed for executive stays and holidays, for couples, large groups, families and extended family groups. or who want a romantic getaway or executives and families who want the comfort of a home away from home.
The accommodation is comprised of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen living dining room, swimming pool, and an amazing outdoor viewing/sundeck.
Bedroom one is the spacious master with a luxury KS bed and city and coastline views from the bed. A brand new luxury ensuite is adjacent with a large glass-enclosed and Carrara marble clad double shower (rail shower plus rain shower), super soft towels, and luxury amenities from MILK & Co.
Bedroom 2 is another spacious main bedroom also with coastal views from the bed. This room can be configured as either a King Bed or 2 x Long Single beds if required.
Bedroom 3 can be configured as either a King Bed for singles or couples, or 2 x Long single beds to suit adults or children.
Bedroom 4 is a modest size and is fitted with a luxury double ensemble to suit either couples or single adults.
The property ideally sleeps up to 8 guests. Additional beds can be provided upon request. Extra toddlers or infants can be catered for. Cots, toddler beds, high chairs, activity table, toys, and even a pram, can be provided upon request.
All linen and towels are provided. Beach towels are provided in summer and fishing gear, bikes, kayaks and beach gear etc is available by prior arrangement.
The property has been renovated with high quality modern finishes and quality furniture. The modern kitchen I fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, electric cooktop, oven, microwave, full size fridge, crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking facilities. The pantry is stocked with plenty of basics like olive oil, spices etc.
A Nespresso coffee machine is provided for your enjoyment and includes a selection of coffee pods. A selection of teas are also provided.
The adults living area has spectacular views, comfy leather sofas, and access to the in-house library for some old-school unplugged entertainment.
A large extendable dining table seats approx 10 people. The family living area includes a large L shaped lounge, LCD television and includes use of Netflix and on demand channels.
We provide luxury amenities from Australian company Milk & Co. All beds are new high quality Posturepeadic ensembles made up with luxurious linens, fluffy toppers, and luxury pillows and quilts.
In addition to the large viewing and entertaining deck at the front, there is a large swimming pool and verandah area plus a tropical jungle in the backyard. This area is currently under renovation with new photos coming soon!
In addition to the main house, there is a studio apartment attached. This will add an optional extra apartment with bedroom, lounge, kitchen and bathroom for extended families and large groups. The space will undergo renovation mid-year and is available to book as add on for bookings from November 2016 onwards. Watch this space!Guest Access

The view is dynamic and constantly changing with the time of day and weather patterns. The sound of the ocean and the smell of the sea air. The location is so convenient for trips to the city, Marion shopping centre, McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills, South Coast etc. A beach house but still so close to the city and all amenities.Getting Around
The Marino Rocks train station is just a short 500m walk. This is the new electrified Seaford line and trains are both frequent and fairly quick eg approx 25 mins ride to the city.Other Things to Note
This property is the perfect location to celebrate New Year on the deck. All 6 public fireworks displays can be seen at the same time including the city, Brighton and Glenelg at both 9pm and midnight!
