Salvage Cafe- a great little cafe where everything is for sale and they do a great line in loose leaf tea and coffee and their cakes are to die for. Find this a couple of minutes away on Western Rd. It is also child and dog friendly and treats for our food legged friends! Simply a lovely place to relax on a cold or wet day.
Wick Inn - funky pub with wonderful and authentic Thai dishes with a special deal of a starter and main course for 6 pounds!
Paris House - A great French themed pub with pictures adorning the wall of those iconic actors, singers, musicians and artists. They do live gypsy jazz every Saturday afternoon and a DJ in the evening. Lovely food selection too.
Lion & Lobster - Fantastic pub, great atmosphere, quirky decor, top notch food and don't miss the jazz on a Sunday night.
Hove Place - Serious Gastro pub food and particularly worth a visit in the warmer months as this is served by friendly staff in the beautiful surroundings of an Italianate Garden out back.Getting Around
I don't have parking, however, you should be able to park in neighbouring Holland Rd or saving this, there is a 24 hr car park in Norton road (next to Hove Town Hall) an 8 minute walk away. Prices for both are just over £5 a day. Buses to all parts of the City leave from the end of the road and an all day pass is £5 or a single is 2 pounds.
