If you would like to be in the vibrant district Quartier Latin, in the very centre of Paris within walking distance to all amenities then this is the place to be! Located in a historic building on a pedestrian street you are literally 200 metres from the world famous cathedral Notre Dame de Paris and 100 metres from Place Saint-Michel. The river Seine is one block away. You are just minutes from museum Le Louvre, Centre Georges Pompidou, Le Marais, Odeon, Jardin Luxembourg, Sorbonne university and the Eiffel Tower. This buzzing area hosts plenty of local eateries, a supermarket (Carrefour), a wonderful bakery, and plenty of typically Parisian bistros and cafes. The underground station is 50 metres from the apartment, it's the Saint-Michel Notre Dame stop which has direct connections to airports Charles de Gaulle and Orly, as well as Gare du Nord. The self-contained studio comprises a small kitchenette with all utensils, a fridge, a microwave, TV, high-speed wifi internet, a REAL double bed with ample space for two, comfy futon mattress, a private bathroom with a bathtub, shower and toilet, a hair-dryer, plenty of storage room for your luggage. There is a secured, double entrance and the studio is located on the back side of the building so it is very quiet. Bed linen and towels will be fresh and provided as well as a complimentary bottle of wine - you're in France!
The down-side is that the studio is located on the 6th floor. No lift as this is a monumental building. It's good exercise and it'll give you great calves - I'm living proof of that! The studio is 18 m2, it's small but it has everything you need. However, if you're used to doing your gymnastics routines in the morning then this is not the right place. Bear in mind that this is one of the most sought after areas in Paris, you'll pay at least double for a tiny, scruffy hotel room with a shared bathroom.I'm not a real estate agent just a local guy that loves to share information and insider's tips about The City of Light.
