Hummingbirds and finches zig zag in front of you as you relax on the deck with your morning tea/coffee or evening wine and cheese.
Fog horn lulls you to sleep and keeps you company during your morning coffee. If Fog Horn may keep you awake we highly recommend ear plugs and typically have some for you in the home basket.

Gourmet kitchen enables enjoyable festive meals with views, music and ready for laughter. Fully stocked kitchen provides stainless steel appliances, plenty of dinner wear, glassware and serving trays and bowls.
The Master suite's own level ensures privacy while the full wall of windows provides outstanding views. If sunshine may wake you in the morning we suggest eye covers as we do not use blinds so as to allow the full effect of outdoors inside.

The living area is spacious, bright and relaxing. The main floor, living area separates the master and second master and includes the half bath.
On the living area floor are two large couches (one in the TV room and one in the living room).
The neighborhood is El Granada, we about a mile up hill from the beach and Princeton Harbor.
Princeton Harbor is still a fishing harbor where the live catch of the day can be purchased,
Kayaks can be rented at Half Moon Bay Kayak right off of HWY 1 at the lights into Princeton Harbor.
Sams Chowder House Restaurant or Half Moon Bay Brewery (Restaurant) as well as Barbara's Fish Trap restaurant are ready for fantastic outdoor seating - all by the ocean nearby.
San Francisco is 35 minutes and Palo Alto is 40 minutes. SFO is 45 minutes. Santa Cruz is 45 minutes, Monterrey is 1.5 hours and Napa is 1.5 hours. This is a great home base for your California Adventure.

Rental Includes 10% San Mateo County Transient Occupancy Tax that is paid directly to San Mateo County by owner. Guest Access We will provide guests with a key code the day of, or before your arrival. We assign a unique code for you and your visit time. This is typically the last four digits of your phone number. The electronic door keypad is easy to see on the front door.
Guests will have full access to the home and decks during your stay. We have owners closets and cabinets that are locked from guests. We may be on property from time to time and may be accessing the apartment on property.
Please remember that only guests on the reservation are to by at the property. If any change to this please let us know ahead of time. Please do not try to open these closets. We require (non-negotiable) that guests never wear outdoor shoes in our home. We do not wear ours and would appreciate that you do not either. Please do not park in front of neighbors homes. Interaction with Guests We may meet you on the property upon your arrival to show you around and ensure you are comfortable. We may access the apartment on property or garage. We are always available on the phone or email or text. I love texting and am VERY responsive to texting. The Neighborhood This is a quiet neighborhood. We offer a relaxing retreat. Please enjoy the bountiful relaxation in our retreat and take some stress out of the day, week or month.
Please do not park in front of neighbors houses. Please park in driveway, in front of house only. Please advise if you will have more cars than can park in the space provided. (three / four cars) Getting Around Unfortunately the public transportation is not up to where I wish it was here on the coast. It is almost required to have a car to enjoy the Tree Tops. I hope this changes in the future. We have some bus access about 1 mile down our rather steep road. Other Things to Note Please - never have pets in the home, please no smoking on the property and please do not wear outdoor shoes in the home. Please ensure you and your group only park in our driveway and in front of our home, not any neighbors homes.

The Coastal Tree Tops Retreat

Spacious designer home with plentiful comfortable seating ensures a relaxing stay. If you are a couple, a family or two couples or a girls get away - this is the perfect retreat.
The Master Suite: Upstairs on a level separate from the living area. California King size bed and french doors overlooking the trees out to the ocean. The Master suite on its own level has large full wall of windows to ensure you enjoy the view. These windows do not have shades so if you are sensitive to sun rise please bring eye cover.
Luxurious master bath includes jetted tub available with bath salts. Glass front walk in shower. Dual vanity for your comfort.
Fireplace: gas with a switch to turn on is on wall to the right of the fireplace.
Large walk in closet is empty for your use. We have an iron and ironing board in this closet as well as the guest robes for your use.
Main Living Level: The living area is spacious, bright and urges you to enjoy just relaxing.

Thermostat is in the hallway on main floor. Please program to meet your temperature needs, but please be considerate of the environment. Please do not force heat above 70 degrees.
WIFI/ Internet: Connect to “The F&A Guest Network”

Extra cushions are in the tall bin. Please replace the ‘lock’ on the bin door as the wind blows the doors if they are not secured.
Please do not take our dining room chairs outside. Extra chairs are outside or in the coat closet- white and maroon and are very comfy.
Grill – you are welcome to use the grill, make sure the gas is turned on underneath at the tank when you use it and please turn if off when you are finished. If the grill is cool and dry please replace the cover.
Firepit – feel free to carefully remove the glass table top and use the logs that are in the green Rubbermaid bin or in a blue recycle bin as well. You may need to pick up at the local grocery if all are used up.
Queen bedroom suites are downstairs. Both bedrooms with queen size bed adjacent to a small balcony that has the hot tub on it. This suite has a full bath with tub shower.
Extra Room Heater located in downstairs bedroom or bedroom closet. Please do not use both heaters at same time - and please do not use both heaters and blow dryer at same time. It will blow a fuse.
Guest robes are found in each closet.

House Rules and Information:
•No events or parties of any type or kind. Only the # of guests on the reservation to be at retreat at any time. If any modification it must be in writing prior to your stay.
•No outdoor Shoes in Home – please wear slippers – we also provide brand new disposable slippers for you use. Please be careful on the hardwood stairs.
Includes all essential utensils and cooking supplies. Please feel free to use what you find, do your best to return it to where you found it.
Laundry can be found in the closet next to the kitchen table. Detergent is available for your use.
Garbage is next to the sink to the left in a silver container and is a trash compactor.
Recyling is in the silver container located under the island on the side near the kitchen table/laundry.
When you are Leaving:
Please leave all used / dirty towels on the kitchen table area.
Please take any garbage out to the garbage can on the side of the house Please ensure the lid is closed– we have raccoons!
Please start the dishwasher with all dirty dishes.
Television Controls – as easy as 1, 2, 3
1. Turn on TV. Always ensure TV is on. The on/off button is on the lower left corner. A blue light indicates that the TV is ready for viewing. If indicator light is red, use TV remote to reactivate to blue.
2. Select viewing option. There are five choices: basic Comcast cable, Apple TV, DVD/CD Player, iPhone/iPod/iPad connection, and Wii. To activate, select one of the following numbered buttons from fhe “Input” section at the top of the TV remote.
Comcast cable: “5” Use Comcast remote to turn on cable TV and to change channels. Use TV remote to adjust volume.
Apple TV: “6” Use “Apple TV” remote (small, slim, silver remote) to turn on “Apple TV” and to selected desired applications. Netflix is available for your use. Use TV remote to adjust volume.
DVD/CD Player: “3” Use DVD remote to turn on player. Press button to open DVD/CD drawer. Insert, close, and play. Use TV remote to adjust volume.
External listening device (iPhone/cell phone, iPod, iPad, etc.): “2” To amplify any device that uses a small earphone jack, plug the “Monster” jack found in the closet into the device. Turn device volume to max and adjust volume on TV, using TV remote, as desired.
Wii: “1” Games and devices can be found in the basket on floor of closet.
