Interaction with Guests I will greet you personally to get you checked in, and prepare and serve breakfast in the morning, with as little or as much interaction as you desire. I can provide insight into local activities including the Bruce Trail, Lake Ontario, Grimsby, and the Niagara Wine Regions. The Neighborhood This location is easily accessible to the QEW that is an easy drive to Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Toronto, and even Buffalo, NY, allowing you to see and experience all the Niagara Region has to offer. Wineries, world class theatre, golf, casinos, shopping and restaurants are all minutes away. Outdoor adventure awaits with cycling trails, and front door access to the Bruce Trail for excellent hiking opportunities. History and Geography abound with Historic Fort George, the Welland Canal, and any number of historic sites and geographic wonders just waiting for you to discover. Your host will be happy to point you in the right direction for any of these diversions, and can act as your personal concierge, making dining reservations, arranging theatre tickets, winery tours, spa appointments, bicycle rentals, or other transportation as required. Bruce Trail pick up and drop off, and bagged lunches can also be arranged for a small fee. Getting Around A car is necessary in this area as there is no public transportation and taxi service is spotty. There is regional transportation on GO bus to Toronto and Niagara. Other Things to Note Children over 10 are welcome. Pets are not allowed. There is a dog on property, but is never able to access guest areas.
Suite 1 is considered handicap friendly - the front entry has 6 steps (can be ramped), plus the door threshold, but once inside, there are no stairs. There is a handrail in bathroom, low entry shower (less than 2"), wide doorways and lots of space. Breakfast can be served in the room to avoid stairs to dining room. Perfect for the elderly or someone with less mobility.
