The Space Upon arrival at our lovely 3 acre property perched atop the Niagara Escarpment your host will greet you with a beverage (we are in Ontario’s wine country after all). After a brief check in, you will be shown to your lovely, large suite with private bathroom and private balcony overlooking our beautiful pear orchard and Lake Ontario. Each suite features luxury bed and linens and typical amenities including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and, of course, towels and a hairdryer. Extra amenities are available in some or all suites including electric fireplace, heated towel rack, large sitting area with satellite TV, Free Wifi, and keyless entry. There is a large shared sitting room and dining room for your comfort and convenience as well.
Suite 1 is a large main floor King Suite with sitting area, ensuite bath with tiled shower and small private balcony overlooking the lake.
Suite 2 is a second floor queen suite with a twin daybed (available for 3rd guest for $20 per night), with sitting area, ensuite bath with tub/shower combo, and large balcony overlooking the Lake.
Suite 3 is a second floor queen suite with sitting area, ensuite bath with glass enclosed shower, and large balcony overlooking the lake. Guest Access Check in is between 3 and 5 p.m., with early or late check in available by prior arrangement. Please contact us directly to make these arrangements so we can be sure to be available to get you settled in for your stay. Check out is 11 a.m., with late check out possible if available. There is parking for one automobile per suite, with additional parking available on request. The Neighborhood This location is easily accessible to the QEW that is an easy drive to Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Toronto, and even Buffalo, NY, allowing you to see and experience all the Niagara Region has to offer. Wineries, world class theatre, golf, casinos, shopping and restaurants are all minutes away. Outdoor adventure awaits with cycling trails, and front door access to the Bruce Trail for excellent hiking opportunities. History and Geography abound with Historic Fort George, the Welland Canal, and any number of historic sites and geographic wonders just waiting for you to discover. Your host will be happy to point you in the right direction for any of these diversions, and can act as your personal concierge, making dining reservations, arranging theatre tickets, winery tours, spa appointments, bicycle rentals, or other transportation as required. Bruce Trail pick up and drop off, and bagged lunches can also be arranged for a small fee. Getting Around A car is necessary in this area as there is no public transportation and taxi service is spotty. There is regional transportation on GO bus to Toronto and Niagara. Other Things to Note Children over 10 are welcome. Pets are not allowed. There is a dog on property, but is never able to access guest areas.
Suite 1 is considered handicap friendly - the front entry has 6 steps (can be ramped), plus the door threshold, but once inside, there are no stairs. There is a handrail in bathroom, low entry shower (less than 2"), wide doorways and lots of space. Breakfast can be served in the room to avoid stairs to dining room. Perfect for the elderly or someone with less mobility.
