The story - When Mandi Lowthian Smith was very young, a trip to Cape Cod found her family in front of a shabby looking door in Hyannis. The door opened to a spectacular seafood restaurant that she never forgot. Suspense is everything. Even Kaji plays it down. Modesty has its advantages. Over the years, at the HR flagship, she managed the A listers with courtesy, pleasure and discretion, treating them warmly, and as people. And most of them responded in kind. People are people. They want respect, discretion, simple pleasures, and a little kindness. Today Mandi offers peace of mind, concierge service, and discretion to our clients. An hour from Toronto and Hamilton. We invite you to be a charter participant.Guest Access
Access is defined by absence. There are no TVs. No cable. No electronic babysitters. Kitchen, yes - but for chatting and tipping a cup. There is no cooking - you are here to relax, not cook and clean. We offer freshly ground coffees, fresh cream, simple teas, mineral water. Occasionally we offer delices from various places and have been known to indulge in Timbits (shhhh). Concierge service includes simple delivered meals over a variety of menus.Interaction with Guests
Mandi is highly intuitive about guest needs. A greeting is often a simple hello and a sincere warm smile. Most of the time, small pleasures have been arranged ahead of time. We can also prearrange certain specialties - - gift baskets, fragrance, quality chocolate, toiletries, even prestige cosmetics and more. The cats One and Two will soon introduce themselves. Mandi is in and out throughout the day. You will have an access code (no keys) a directory ((SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) translated as needed) bus routes etc. Mandi enjoys trips to Niagara, Toronto, and the Cottage. If you are interested let her know. The Neighborhood
This area has been known for its hardworking roots. However more recently the area is enjoying a renaissance. The scrappy pub at the end of the street is now hosting childrens kareoke. Many of the houses are selling for prices the locals are astonished by. Most of this is the influence of Toronto expansion, and also the new GO train location less than a mile away. Mandi is a Toronto expat. This is a family neighbourhood- discretion, quiet, relaxation.Getting Around
Two big airports access Hamilton - Pearson (YYZ) and Hamilton (YHM). To get here, take a limo. They are cleaner, and it is a flat fee. Sorry, no arrivals after 23:00 hrs or before 08:00 EST. From Toronto, take the GO train or bus west from Union station to the last stop (Hamilton Downtown). Hop on the Barton 2 Bus to Chestnut Avenue. Driving during non peak hours from Toronto is easy. Come for the afternoon! ;) However you go, connect with the Queen Elizabeth Way westbound to 403, following 403 to Main Street EAST to Wentworth (couple of miles) turning north (left) to Barton East, turning right to Chestnut. That was easy!Other Things to Note
