Well, it's all yours!
Please use what you want from cleaning products, dry cooking ingredients, spices etc. There is not a lot of closet space left for clothes. No washing machine, but there is a good coin laundrette on the street. Interaction with Guests
None whatsoever. We are easy to contact if you have questions. Some help can also be had from our nice neighbours and friends, should there be an emergency of any kind. The Neighborhood
Rue Paul Bert is full of little great restaurants, cafés, fine wine shops and artisanal bakeries. It is a foodie area, with famous markets and restaurants like Septime, Cyril Lignac, Bistro Paul Bert, Clamato and Rue Charonne. Interesting independent shops and designers, artisans, galleries, books shops etc - creative people like this neighbourhood. It is close to Bastille, trendy Marais, Republique and very close to the famous food market Marché Aligre!
It is lively and active, especially at night - but safe. Since the apartment is in a courtyard, and not facing the street, there is absolutely no sound from the street.Getting Around
Very close to metro station Faidherbe-Chaligny, 3 min walk. Taxi stop and bus stops at the same place. Also very close to a Velib rent-a-bike hub! No car parking is included in the apartment, but still free parking for anybody on the street. To get here from the airport, just take a taxi or RER train and then change to Metro. Close to Metro Reuilly-Diderot (line 1, which goes through all of Paris, to the Eiffel Tower!), Metro Charonne, bus to Gare du Nord/Chateau de Vincennes. 30 min walk to Ile-Saint-Louis and the river Seine!Other Things to Note
Our apartment is functional and fresh, not cluttered with unneccessary things. It's spacious for being quite small. We have a newborn child, which you will find some small traces of, mainly in the shape of toys. A large changing table in the bedroom is something we cannot put anywhere else unfortunately, but its free for you to use, should you have a nice little baby to take care of!
The apartment is perfect for a couple, or one person, or 3-4 who wants use the sofa bed.
Anyone who likes to cook on a daily basis will love this place, and location!
