This is my personal flat: 45 m2 apartment very bright (3m long window One large living area and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is ideal for a couple.
My apartment is located in the 16th Arrondissement long known as one of the most fashionable and beautiful Arrondissement of Paris. It is an area of elegant boulevards and typical boutiques. It is overlooking the shopping rue de Passy and is very close to the Eiffel Tower.
Facilities: a large flat screen TV
Refrigerator/freezer, all basic cooking tools, moka coffee machine and water kettle. Linen and towels are provided. Hair Dryer in the bathroom.

In the close surroundings, you will have the possibility to discover some of the city’s best landmarks. The Eiffel Tower, the Place du Trocadero and its gardens (housing the Musée de l’Homme, Musée de la Marine, Musée de l’Architecture and the Theatre du Chaillot), the Musée Marmottan (Monet paintings), the house of Honoré de Balzac, the Musée Guimet (Asian Arts Museum), the Place d’Iena, the Musée Galliera (Fashion Museum), the Palais de Tokyo (Modern Arts Museum), the newly opened Musée du quai Branly (featuring indigenous arts, cultures and civilizations from Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas.), the Place de l’Etoile with the Arc de Triomphe, and the Champs Elysées are all within easy walking distance of the apartment (maximum 20 minutes walk). You will also be able to take a walk down Rue Benjamin Franklin, Avenue Paul Doumer and Avenue Kleber or scroll down the bank of the Seine River and catch a Bateaux Mouches or Bateaux Parisiens to explore the city with another eye.
The apartment is just 5 minutes walk from Rue de Passy, where you will be able to find anything you need: supermarkets, drugstore, bakeries, wine shops, ATMs, florists, cafés restaurants and brasseries, dry cleaners, hairdressers, gourmet food shops, and also lots of clothes stores with typical Parisian brands. A convenience store that stays open late as well as on Sundays is located just around the corner.
If you feel tented to visit Paris on a bike, you’ll also find a Velib Station right at the beginning of Rue de Passy. This will allow you to rent a bicycle easily and leave it at wherever stations you feel to stop at.
Public transportation in Paris is reliable and very easy to use. You’ll have no trouble getting anyplace you want in the city from Passy Station or from Trocadero Station. The apartement is situated between both Passy Station (2minutes walk) and Trocadero Station (4minutes walk).
The line 6 from Passy and Trocadero Station will take you directly to Place de l’Etoile and the Arc de Triomphe (3 stations - 6minutes), where you’ll be able to scroll down the Champs Elysées known as the Most Beautiful Avenue in the World. Taking this line 6 and changing for line 10 at La Motte Piquet Grenelle Station, you’ll be able to reach Saint Germain des Prés within 20 minutes and visit traditional Left Bank Paris.
The line 9 from Trocadero Station will take you to Franklin Roosevelt Station (3 stations - 6 minutes) right on the Champs Elysées, and to Havre Caumartin (7 stations - 14 minutes), near the famous Les Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps department stores and the Opera Garnier. At Franklin D. Roosevelt Station (3 stations - 6 minutes), you can change to the line 1 which goes to Place de la Concorde, Jardin des Tuileries, Palais Royal and the Louvre Museum, the Centre Pompidou Museum and the astonishing Place des Vosges situated in the typical Marais area (St Paul station – 24 minutes).
If you prefer to stay over the ground level, there are three bus lines that stop closely to my apartment. The bus 32 in one direction, takes you to the former village of Auteuil, with its famous Art Nouveau buildings, in the other direction, heads to the Grands Magasins area (Les Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps) and the Opera Garnier, passing by Avenue George V and the Champs Elysées. Its last stop is Gare de l’Est (railway station for the East of France).The bus 22 will take you as well to the Opera Garnier by passing by different areas; Place de l’Etoile, Arc de Triomphe, Avenue de Friedland, and Boulevard Haussmann.
The bus 63 goes directly to the Rive Gauche area (Left Bank of the Seine). From Trocadero, it will only take you a few minutes to arrive at Guimet Museum, Palais de Tokyo (Modern Arts museum) and Musée Galliera (Museum of Fashion). It crosses the Seine River at the Pont de l’Alma, and offers wonderful views of the river and Place de la Concorde. This bus goes along Boulevard Saint Germain to the heart of the left bank and the Latin Quarter. Its last stop is Gare de Lyon (railway to the South of France).
If you want to visit Chateau de Versailles, take the RER C at Champs de Mars - Tour Eiffel heading to Versailles Rive Gauche and step down at Versailles Rive Gauche Chateau Station. It will take you approximately 45 minutes to get there. If you prefer to walk, the journey should take more or less 3 hours.
