As a New Yorker who fell in love with Paris years ago, I'm a wealth of information that you may or may not care about. I'd be happy to share with you some great travel tips and off-the-beaten-path hidden treasures the City of Light has to offer. I've been known to take guests on private excursions in my free time.
I hope to be able to communicate as much as possible I'll be in and out of Paris, but I'm available by (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), iMessage, email, etc...
When I'm not here, my buddy Benoit is around in case of anything. The Neighborhood
My absolute favorite thing about this aaprtment is the location. It's in the center of all the best spots. Only steps away from la Place de la République, and a short walk to le Canal Saint-Martin, le Marais, and both Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est.
Just a short metro ride (or walk) to the Louvre, Bastille, Opéra, or the incredible park, les Buttes de Chaumont, Père LaaChaise Cemetery, Montmartre, etc.Getting Around
We are directly connected to 6 - yes, six! - metro lines...the 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, and 11. Plus the RER-B is at Gare du Nord. You pretty much can't beat that. There are also several Velib' (public bike share) stations all around us, plus buses, and of course, you can Uber a taxi.
To or from the airport, Uber costs only 45€ every time!Other Things to Note
This apartment is totally comfortable, tucked off the busy boulevards, but just 1 - 2 blocks in any direction from all the action!
We're situation right on the corner, with windows opening up to the street. You have views in several directions, and the wonderful aroma of the boulangerie across the street!
There is an additional Cleaning Fee if apartment is not cleaned by tenant prior to departure. Please read the House Rules carefully.
