It's a typical Parisian apartment sitting in a 1948 building and as such has the Parisian classics, such as moldings, wooden floors and marble fireplaces. It has just been fully renovated.
The place is also furnished with original mid-century modern pieces and lights, notably from French designers Pierre Guariche or Max Sauze.
In the entrance, you'll find the toilets on your right, then in front of you will be the open-plan living space with the walnut.
At the end of this space is the bedroom (with queen sized bed, or 160cm wide) with TV. Going through the dressing room, you will enter the bathroom, that was designed a bit as a secret lab, offering a large shower - and the washer/dryer.Guest Access
You'll have access to the whole apartment, except some cupboards ;)Interaction with Guests
I will most of the time welcome you and also be here to help you with check out in person. I will also be reachable during your stay. If I can't, I'll always get a friend to help you.
Happy to provide you with my favorite addresses in the area and please feel free to ask if I can help with anything, such as booking a table or getting something extra, like a bottle of wine, groceries, a French sim card, etc. to ease your stay. The Neighborhood
This area is mostly known for its calm and hype trendy restaurants. Some of the most prominent restaurants - and bars, to a lesser extent - in the Paris scenery are just nearby or not very far. The Canal Saint-Martin is 6 min away by foot, ideal to do a little running in the morning or drinks in the evening (Chez Prune, with their terrasse, is a classic). République is 7 min away and le Marais about 15 min if you're more into shopping.Getting Around
The closest station is Goncourt, 2 min away by foot (line 11, getting to Châtelet with line 1 or République in just one stop with lines 3, 5, 8 and 9). You can also walk directly to République.Other Things to Note
The building is located between two courtyards, so no street noise
The unit is on the fourth floor with no elevator
Fireplaces are purely decorative
