Groceries galore, famous restaurants, beautiful shops and trendy places are the norm here. Set your own pace by strolling the walking streets like and enjoy an incomparable day of indulgence and eye feast!
When you are back from a long day out, and even much later at night, you will still be able to buy some food and drinks at the numerous groceries around to your heart content. A night out can also mean taking a dive with the kids in the near-by swimming pool, having a masseur come and take care of your sore legs, or chilling out at one of the many comfy cocktail bars around, the world is your oyster!

Otherwise, why not sample some delicious food from one of the many take-away places downstairs, with a nice bottle of wine quietly at home?
The place is warm and inviting, it's very bright and airy, and I have designed it to make it as welcoming as possible. Here you will recharge your batteries in no time! The bedroom is fantastically quiet even when the windows are left ajar, and the living room is fantastically bright. Very accommodating up to 4 people (best is 2), the apartment is endowed with comfort and unobtrusive practicability (a bedroom with twin beds, a living room with a pull out sofa accommodating 2). Bring your sweetheart here and memories of a life time are guaranteed!
This building is filled with history. Firstly, it is a classified monument (a beam in the apartment up mine on the 5th floor shows 1636. The caves are a bit over 1,000 years old and they are impressive! We used to have a corridor running underneath the street with a connection to the basement of the building facing ours, but unfortunately, it was sealed a few years back, the wall of bricks can still be seen in the cellar.
On the 10th of May 1610, the beloved Henri the IV, after being stabbed by Ravaillac, was transported in front of the apartment to "Le Bourdon d'Or", an "apotheque" (chemist and alchemist back then) for an emergency treatment, before being taken to Le Louvre where he passed away.
That building can be seen from the apartment where a couple of benevolent ghosts might at times be encountered (2 men, a potbellied 60ish one, and a 30ish slender one, elegantly dressed up). Back in the 17th century, they used to make candles for Versailles castle. They are well meant and behaved, there is no need to be scared if you spot them, they cannot, and will not harm you, they are just curious of what happens with the place the love so much (just like me).
The building cannot accommodate a lift as it is too old. The apartments here have high ceilings and this one is on the 4th floor (plus ground floor). Keep this in mind when packing your luggage!
