The bungalow has two spacious rooms that we rent separately. They share a kitchen and a bathroom. Each room has a view on our tropical garden with a huge mango tree, papaya plants, avocados, bananas and passion fruits. The kitchen is an open space and gives you the impression that you're cooking and eating in the garden.Guest Access
You can use the entire bungalow and it's spacious terrace. The beach which is officially public like all over French Polynesia is rather private as no one, apart from our neighbours, has acces to it. We have a paradisiac spot at the beach, in the shade of Puau trees and with a beautiful view on the neighbouring island Mo'orea (the yellow gecko)Interaction with Guests
The bungalow is right opposite our house and usually we're home. We are always there for you if you have any questions and, as mentioned before, we love to have bbqs at the beach and exchange with travelers. We go into town every day of the week and have no problems what so ever to take you along if you need a lift. The Neighborhood
Besides the fact that our property is by the sea, we also have excellent access to the nearby shopping center (800m), where you find a super market, a bakery, a photo store, cafe, restaurant, fitness center, dentist, health practitioner, pharmacie, fashion etc.
The Meridien hotel with it's tropical dance shows every weekend, an excellent restaurant, inspiring beach bar and divers opportunities to head out on organised tours, is situated just before the shopping center.
We're 15 kms away from down town Papeete and 10 kms from the international airport.Getting Around
As we live right next to the 'Route ceinture' that goes once around the entire island, there are regular busses passing by right infront of our doorstep. They are regular, but they come whenever they want - so taking the bus in Tahiti means bringing along a lot of patience and time. We have two cars and are open to take travelers along into town or wherever else we're going. We also have a great network of car sharers in tahiti. So solutions can be found.Other Things to Note
We have a kayac that you are free to use any time. We also have a paddle that we can lend to experienced paddlers. We also have a huge basket of masks, tubas and finns where you can serve yourself, provided you take good care of the equipment.
