The Space Your room has a balcony overlooking a large green courtyard for the apartment building's residents.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no lift. This level is the second to the top of the building, which means lots of light from outside floods into the apartment, with no obstructions or street lamps directly in front of the balcony. The sun sets infront of the balcony, so you will not be bothered by the early morning sunshine.
The apartment building is mostly quiet, with rules in place to maintain the peacfulness. Although you may occasionally be able to hear the neighbours or a get together in the courtyard. Guest Access You are sharing the bathroom with me, and there will be shower gel and shampoo provided for you to use. Towels are provided as well.
The bathroom is very small (typical in copenhagen apartments), so please be sure to see the pictures so you know what to expect.
The apartment building key gives you access to enclosed courtyards with play areas and toys for children, lawns, and sitting areas.
The Fitness facility (please see photos) is not much to look at and does not have a wide array of weight lifting matchines or equipment. There are stationary bikes, step machines, and floor space (no treadmill). It is used by the apartment building residents only and you will be provided with the key. Interaction with Guests I am a home body and mostly keep to myself. I am friendly and accommodating to your needs when it comes to advice and help in general. I have most of my advice and recommendations for Copenhagen added into the white information folder in your room as well as a collection of city brochures and attraction pamphlets. The Neighborhood The neighbourhood is relaxed and fun at the same time. You will find lovely green areas nearby, art galleries and shops.
For a very beautiful walk I recommend the nearby Frederiksberg Gardens, a gorgeous large park designed in English Romance fashion.
Valby is brimming with restaurants, including a Halifax, Bone's and Sticks n' Sushi. Though there are non-chain local restaurants that I can recommend instead of the familiar ones. Getting Around Valby station is a 10 minute walk away, and Langgade station a 5 minute walk away. Both train stations have frequent trains to the city center, which takes only 8 minutes. (about 20 minutes total from my place to the city when including walking)
I do however recommend using GPS on your mobile phone to find my address from the train station to make things easier when first checking in (800 meters from Valby station to my apartment). Valby Station is the bigger and busier station near me, and walking from this station is the fastest way to my place.
TO AND FROM AIRPORT:
From the airport there are two ways to get to me. You can take the metro (subway) from the airport to Nørreport station and switch to an S-train that goes to Valby station and then walk from that station to my apartment. You can also take the Regional Train from the airport and switch at Central Station to an S-train from platforms 10-11 that has trains going to Valby Station. Other Things to Note There is a TV in the room with a HDMI cable so you can watch movies from your laptop on the TV.
The check-in time has to be agreed upon before your arrival. Please let me know a few days before your arrival what time you expect to be at my apartment for check in. ...
