Enjoy a great night's sleep in the queen sized, four poster bed, made up with Italian linens. There is also a self inflating air mattress if you need it. Plush Turkish cotton bath linens and toiletries are provided. Please make yourself at home on the front porch with a cocktail or just to sit and watch a summer thunderstorm roll by. Guest Access Guests will enjoy the newly renovated, fully equipped kitchen, Smart TV with complimentary Wi-fi, washer and dryer, and spacious front porch. Two complimentary bikes are available for you to wheel around town. We also have an air mattress for your use if needed. The flat is yours to enjoy, so put your feet up, get comfy and stay a while. Interaction with Guests We can have as much or little contact with you as you'd like during your visit. We love meeting new people and sharing with them what makes our city and neighborhood so special, so please don't hesitate to let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable. The Neighborhood Mobile is a colorful, vibrant city with an incredibly rich past, and we look forward to hosting your visit here! Our home is situated along the live oak lined streets of Historic Midtown Mobile with its eight National Register Historic Districts and grand old homes. The local grocery is a half mile drive, or 10-minute walk away.
We are within walking and biking distance to a wide variety of shops, art galleries, historic house museums, restaurants, wine bars, community parks. We are also located two miles from the LODA Entertainment District, farmers' Market on the Square, Mardi Gras Museum, Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center and IMAX theater, GulfQuest Maritime Museum, Ladd-Peebles Stadium, Mardi Gras parade routes, and Carnival Cruise Terminal.
For the outdoorsman, there are kayaking and sunset pontoon boat tours, airboat rides, alligator tours, standup paddle board rentals, guided fishing trips, and the Five Rivers Delta Resource Center. Sleepy Dauphin Island with its sugary white beaches and hiking and biking trails are only a 40-minute drive to the south. Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are an hour to the east. Bellingrath Gardens and Home is a magnificent 65-acre public garden and historic home located on Fowl River just 35 minutes away. If you are a birding enthusiast, Mobile is home to one of the largest migrations in North America and provides phenomenal birdwatching. John also happens to be a marine biologist and bird expert (and likes to talk!), so please feel free to pick his brain about the incredibly unique and rich biodiversity Mobile Bay has to offer. Getting Around Mobile is UBER, taxi, and public transit friendly. We also have several custom bicycles for you to enjoy, all hanging on the "Tree of mobility!" Other Things to Note We allow pets at our discretion for an addition fee. Pet fee begins at $25 and is dependent on the number and size of your pet. Pet fee MUST BE PAID in full prior to check-in. Please message us directly and let us know if you intend bring your pet(s). Include their breed, size, and age. All pets must be up to date on vaccines, flea and tick medication, housebroken, non-barkers, non-aggressive, on leash, and stay off of all furniture. ...
