Our check in is at 3PM and check out at 12 PM (noon) but you can always ask for a different time, we are trying to be very flexible.
We can pick you up by car in the bus or train station (2 euros).
We provide linen and towels. There is a possibility to wash and dry laundry here (2 euros).
We also have a sauna that you can use (2 euros) if you wish to when agreed previously. It is heated with wood so it takes some time. It is possible to use a whisk of birch for 3 Euros. You can use shampoos, hair balms, shower gels and the toothpaste.Guest Access

We are renting out a room in the house our family of three lives in.
We do not have a big house, but our house is two-parted ja 2-floored. In one part live the owners of the house.
In the ohter side on the 2nd floor there are 3 bedrooms. We offer a wide and comfortable bed for 2 visitors and couch for 1.
On the 1st floor on this side of the house there is the living room, kitchen, toilet, bathroom and a sauna. You will be sharing the WC and bathroom during the winter period with grandmother.
Visitors have the same entrance we use. You can get to the room through the living room.Interaction with Guests
Family and Guests
It is our home and we live here ourselves. We don't have any small children (sometimes our grandchildren come here) but we are very family- and children-friendly.
Different members of the family speak English, German, Finnish, Russian and very little Spanish. We are willing to teach some basic Estonian and if you wish to - some more. We can communicate with the guests but they can also stay on their own if they want to. We try to answer the questions and give advice about our city Tartu and the country in the whole.
We can introduce you the city and places worth seeing. If you wish to and we can agree on the time we cand take you to different places in Estonia.The Neighborhood
New Estonian National Museum is less than a kilometer walk away. There you can learn about our history and culture.
Our part of the city is very quiet and safe and green. Nearby there is the park of Raadi manor and nice green cementary.
Nearby there are roads for light traffic for bikes and different sports. We can rent visitors bikes and walking sticks and rollerblades in some sizes.
There is also Tartu Adventure Park a couple of hundred meters away where you can spend time with different activities (e.g. climbing, air rides) and Tartu Lumepark (snowtubing) and Raadimõisa Snowtubing Park.
There are 3 different food stores 10 minutes walk from here. We can give you advice where to go and how to get there.Getting Around
It is 2,5 km (about 30 min) on foot from the Town Hall Square and University of Tartu and about 3 km from the main bus station.
The bus station "Raadi" is 2 min away from our house. Going to the centre of the city by bus takes about 10 minutes. Buying the ticket from the bus costs 1,50 euros.
With Tartu bus card (costs 2 euros) 1 ride is 83 cents, getting the right to ride during an hour's time is 94 cents, a day - 2,11 €. With one bus card you can get a bus ticket for up to 5 passangers.
Going to the centre with taxi costs about 5-6 euros. We can also agree to take you (2 euros).Other Things to Note
Visitors can have breakfast here (e.g.porrige,sandwiches, muesli, yoghurt, milk, tea and coffee), it is included in the price. The fridge is available for use, you can make tea and coffee. If requested, dinner is available for a little extra cost (about 5 euros), too. Possible to use the kitchen, it has a microwave, a water kettle, a toaster and a cooking stove.
Parking and Internet.
We have free parking in front the house.
We have free WiFi.
If you want to bring pets with you, smaller ones are allowed if they have good manners and they do not destroy furniture, carpets etc. You should let us know beforehand.
Things to Note.
Outdoor footwear is left in the corridor.
Smoking indoors is not allowed but permitted outdoors.
