The Space High vaulted ceilings and the expansive views create a wonderful feeling of openness. At 725 square feet, the cottage is larger than the other guest houses available in this area. It's decorated and supplied with lots of thoughtful touches of style and luxury to enhance your visit. There is a queen size bed with a super comfortable mattress that many of my guests comment about plus a couch that folds into a very comfy full size mattress, comfortably fitting 3 people maybe even 4.
There is a dinning table, sink and counters, a fridge, microwave oven, toaster oven, and everything you need to enjoy food from local grocery stores and restaurants.
There is a new 50 inch Smart 4K flat screen TV with many free channels, plus you can login to your Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go, Showtime, CBS All Access or any other streaming TV site account.
When you arrive you will find fresh cut flowers, a bowl of local organic fruit, organic orange juice and some of my fresh baked banana bread waiting for you. Guest Access French doors open to a pathway that leads to a pool and large spa with views of the valley and mountains. In the warm months you are welcome to eat your meals on our tables in the pool area, relax on the chaise lounges and enjoy the sun and the pool. The hot tub is available for you to relax in after a day of wine tasting or exploring. The outdoor tables, pool and hot tub area is a common area shared with me and my daughter. But we are often not out there and when we are we are happy to let our guests enjoy their privacy and keep to ourselves. There are plenty of chaise lounges, umbrellas, chairs and tables for everyone and the pool area is large enough that even if we are out there too there is enough room for you to have your space. Interaction with Guests I respect your privacy and leave you to your own during your stay but are available if you need anything. The Neighborhood Location Near Town
Downtown Sebastopol and the new Barlow food and wine center are only 5 minutes away. The property is located south of town near Hwy 116 which makes it easy to get to from San Francisco. There are many outstanding wineries in the Sebastopol area, bike trails and state parks nearby.
The immediate neighborhood semi-rural and is a favorite with residents for walking and biking. There is a sheep ranch down the street with charming long-horn sheep and other properties in my area have everything from goats, pigs, horses and even a couple donkeys (my favorite). There are some properties with vineyards as well which reminds you that you are in the wine country. Getting Around Cottage is about 4 miles south of the town of Sebastopol, under a 5-9 minute car ride.
Uber, Lyft and Taxies are available in this area. Figure about 20 minutes for service.
