Incredible first floor apartment overlooking the famous Sherborne Abbey. This bright and spacious two-bedroom apartment boasts a large drawing room with large windows and breathtaking views, kitchen/breakfast room, two bedrooms, an en-suite shower room and seperate bathroom. Situated on one side of the green to the front of Sherborne Abbey the apartment arguably has one of the finest views in the whole of Sherborne and feels like a once in a lifetime experience. The apartment is situated on the first floor with the kitchen/breakfast room, twin bedroom and living room many taking in a view that has changed very little over the last three centuries. The living room is particularly attractive with large windows to two sides, decorative mouldings and picture rails. You look out on the Abbey and it's grounds in one direction and over Sherborne School and the old cobbled thoroughfare in the other direction. The spacious master bedroom has a brand new en-suite shower room while the second bedroom makes use of a separate bathroom. The twin bedroom has a lovely large sash window that overlooks the Abbey and grounds and lets in plenty of light. At the other end of the property is the kitchen with a dining table. Again, this room looks out over the Abbey and grounds. As with all of our properties the kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you would need or expect in a self-catering property and we always pride ourselves (and are commended by guests) on how well-equipped our properties are. From spare bulbs, batteries and matches to tea, coffee, sugar and cereal! Although all of the rooms in the apartment are spacious they are further enhanced by the high ceilings and large windows. The apartment has just recently been completely redecorated throughout including new carpets and furniture. As with all of our properties it is finished to an incredibly high standard throughout and has such extra amenities as a large flat screen television, DVD player, iPod player and WiFi. The apartment is located right beside Sherborne Abbey in the very centre of Sherborne. Many of the towns amenities lie within a few minutes walking distance including a main line train station, two large supermarkets and a large selection of shops, public houses and restaurants. The local regional centre of Yeovil lies within short motoring distance and with Sherborne provide an excellent range of cultural, recreational and shopping facilities. Sporting, walking and riding opportunities abound with the area with golf courses at both Yeovil and Sherborne. Transport links are good with the main line station linking directly with London Waterloo while road links are along the A303 joined at Wincanton giving swift access to London and the Home Counties along the M3, M25 routeGuest Access
