The Space The room is big and it can accommodate three people with an extra mattress with an en-suite bathroom. The climate of Jogja is hot and humid, it can be very hot in the day outside, but because the house is high and has many plants, the house is cool. There is an air-conditioning in the room and has a desk for working with laptop. This room also has its own bath room (cold shower and WC).
This room is part of the 2 (two) rooms that are let to rent. Please see the other room if you want to use both. There is also a bungalow in the back yard that is let as well. Guest Access Guests can use public space in the house including living and dining room, terraces, garden (you can also fishing in the pond if you like), and library.
Internet wifi can be accessed everywhere in the house including bedroom, library, living and dining room, and also at the rear terrace and garden. Interaction with Guests I am living in the house and available most of the time. If not, I will ask my brother who lives nearby to help you with anything related to house access and facilities. We speak English and Bahasa Indonesia. We can help you with information about Jogja and places to see. The Neighborhood The house is in a village where people are still talking to each other. Please be polite to them, a smile and greet would be nice if you meet them when you jog around the village. Please do not make a noise if you come home late at night. Getting Around Like in any other cities in Indonesia, public transport is not adequate and not good. You can call a taxi though if you want to go to the city (20 minutes to the famous Malioboro Street of Jogja by taxi). When you're already in the city centre, you can take public bus "Trans Jogja" that connects main areas in Jogja like the airport, Prambanan Temple and inter-city bus terminal in Giwangan. If you want to go to places, we can help you arrange renting a car or if you are adventurous enough, you can rent our motorcycle. "Gojek", an Uber-like motorcycle, is also another option to go everywhere in Jogja. You need to download the apps first. Other Things to Note The owners of the house are living IN the house in the upper compartment. Although we like to meet and talk to people, we respect your privacy and won't bother you if you need a quiet-alone time. All members of the house are friendly and speak English. ...
