The Space The apartment is located in a small building in a quaint residential neighborhood. The space is small but functional, great for one person. There's a kitchenette with pots, pans, plates, glasses, utensils, coffee maker, toaster. Small flat-screen TV with basic cable, secure WiFi. I am an artist and work from home; there's an adjustable drafting table/desk you can use to write or draw. Full bathroom with a window. Guest Access This is a studio apartment so you will have access to the main space, kitchenette and the bathroom. Please note that there will not be a closet for you to use (there is only one closet and it will be full of my personal stuff). I will leave one dresser empty so you can put your clothes in there, but nowhere to really hang up clothes. Interaction with Guests I will be renting out the space while I am out of town, so I will only be available via email. However, I have a number of good friends who live nearby, so they will be available in case of emergency. The Neighborhood Sunnyside is a diverse residential neighborhood with good transportation, great restaurants, pubs/bars, cafes and shops. It's within striking distance of local Queens attractions and it's easy to get to Manhattan and Brooklyn too. The area I live in is called Sunnyside Gardens, known for it's beautifully gardened front yards with lots of beautiful flowers, tall trees and chirping birds.
