It’s situated on 667 acres of natural rainforest within the environmental protection area of Cave of the Maruaga and located at Km 144 of the roadway BR 174 (direction Manaus-Boa Vista), in the township of Presidente Figueiredo, Amazon, Brazil (the same road that leads to Venezuela). The access to our guest house is only by car (2-hour car ride).Interaction with Guests

Insects - Mosquitos are not a huge issue at Amazon Camp Lodge due to its not location near the water and the forest breezes that grace the property. However, due to our jungle location there are some bugs and we do provide mosquito netting for those who wish to use it. It is suggested that you bring insect repellent just in case.
Access and Safety Issues – Amazon Camp Lodge's sleeping areas are accessed via steps that may be suitable for guests with strict mobility issues. Parents are advised to accompany any child they feel is incapable of using our facilities without risk of injury. Please understand that your attention to safety is very important in such a remote location.
