Teddington, SW London area. Kingston with its market and food outlets, and large shopping centre, is 1 mile away, Twickenham 2 miles, and Central London is 13 miles by road. Train access is via Waterloo takes 35 mins by overland train. The nearest Underground tube and London Overground connects at mainline Richmond station 4 miles away. Heathrow can be reached by Uber cab, and buses X26 & 285 in 50 minutes. Gatwick takes almost 2 hours by public transport.
Teddington is a world away from Central London but within an hour you can be in the West End. The River Thames, Hampton Court and Bushy Park, however, are all close for a walk or run, or to cycle. Teddington has many local shops, pubs, bars and eateries, the closest being 5/10 minutes walk away, as the main high street is slightly further away within 2km/1-1.5 miles. Next to Teddington station is gastropub The Railway, near to my house isThe Lion, and independent pub restaurant is The Foresters in Hampton Wick, a short walk away close to Hampton wick station.

The kitchen is fully equipped, oven & microwave for creating quick snacks, and central island for use as a workspace/table, though limited fridge storage space. There is even a lovely garden. Basic breakfast tray with tea & coffee supplies if requested.
My home sits on the B358 in Teddington in SW/Greater London area, bordering Surrey. Kingston is 1 mile away, Richmond & Twickenham 3-4 miles. You can walk in 12 mins to either Teddington or Hampton Wick stations from where Waterloo is reached in 35 mins. Close to major road networks M3/M25/M4 within 15 minutes.

This rental is mostly for during the working week. Please do not choose my room if you need to check in late or return late as this is a quiet household, especially after 9pm, including weekends - so it's a great place to rewind and relax, chill out in the room, watch your own TV, eat a snack, and unwind....
Being a small semi-detached means that upstairs, loud noise or sound travels and so disturbs easily.
The house is next to the railway line but NOT in the flight path - bring earplugs if you are noise-sensitive!
