The Space This is truly a unique property on the Three Lakes Chain of Lakes. It is a large tract on the southernmost end of the chain in a secluded bay. There is plenty of room to walk in the woods and fields, all on our land, and the bay is quiet and very pristine, a wonderful place to kayak and fish. Guest Access There is a picnic table, grill, pedal boat, canoe, row boat, fire pit and tons of parking. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a front load washer and dryer in the basement. Interaction with Guests That depends entirely on them. I do come up twice a day to feed horses and occasionally have need to get something from the pole barn about 100yards behind the house (same driveway) but try not bother guests unless they wish to be friendly. It is a working farm so there is need for a certain amount of activity at times but most of the time it is very quiet. The main house is about 500 yards to the south on its own private drive and separated from the homestead by a tree line. The Neighborhood Well, I guess the fact that I can't see anybody else's house from ours. It is quiet, private, and stunningly beautiful no matter which direction you look. Getting Around No, there is no public transit. You should definitely bring a boat of some kind or rent one if you can. The Chain of lakes is truly amazing. It's fun to paddle around here as the bay is full of wildlife but there is a lot more out there! We are on the largest chain of inland lakes in the world. This is a pretty remote location.
