The Space Your room is attached, yet separate entrance from the main house. You have an en-suite bathroom and small walk-in closet. You have full access to the kitchen located in the main house. Also enjoy the great backyard area with a fire pit. Guest Access You have full access to the kitchen which is part of the main house and shared with me , the backyard area, and washer dryer. Interaction with Guests Attention: I am on international travel between January 26 and February 4th. If you need to contact me send me a message through Airbnb as I will not have an active American phone number. I will send check in information before your stay and answer any questions you might have. I have a friend that is familiar with the Airbnb that can address any issues in my absence. I turned off instant book to give time to coordinate cleaning.
I am often away from the house at work however I am reachable at all times. I can give you recommendations to local gems that you will not find in guide books. The Neighborhood I have fallen in love with the Iron Horse Neighborhood and you will too! The prevailing architecture is Bungalow and Arts and Craft style.
Walk to the local food co-op or community garden (where I am growing tomatoes and herbs). Poke your head in one of Tucson's oldest dive bars, The Buffet (or as locals refer to it "the buff".) Getting Around You are a quick walk to the central bus station, modern street car, and Maynard train station. Downtown and University of Arizona are within quick walking distance. I also have a driveway and street parking pass. Other Things to Note An unfortunate fact about being close to downtown is the occasional train crossing. While I have grown accustomed to it; you should be aware it may be noisy at times.
I also chose to not have cable TV but I have a smart TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix.
