The community center has soccer, baseball, basketball, and tennis pitches for sports enthusiasts, and there is also a large a community water park with slides and depths for splashing around on hot days. In addition, Anthems has large 63-acre community park with lots of grassy areas for picnicking and watching a play in the summer at the outdoor amphitheater.

The open-air outlet mall is the perfect place to browse retailers, high-end designers, and jewelers. Centerpoint at Anthem is where you're going to find all of your locally-made goods along with salons and art galleries, as well smaller independent boutiques. After a busy day exploring, take the whole family to the Daisy Mountain Railroad, where you can enjoy a peaceful ride that follows a 2,800-foot track through the scenic park.

The summers in Anthem are very hot and dry, sometimes reaching up to 102 degrees. The best time to visit then, is from early June to late July or from early August to late September when the temperatures are more pleasant for exploring outdoors.
