The historical Berlin was established around 1700 and has been growing ever since. The town is part of the Salisbury-Maryland-Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area which brings many visitors from statewide every year. In the 20th century, the town underwent a serious of developments and grew in popularity. The historical downtown now features wonderful architecture and is only ten miles away from the beach. Not to mention, Berlin also has its own Oktoberfest, where locals and travelers alike celebrate beer, sausages, and German culture.
