Breezy Point is a town best known for being home to Breezy Point Resort, a stunning destination created by Captain Billy Fawcett and drawing famous vacationers since the 1920s. The town is mainly residential and the resort is the main attraction with thousands of acres of land, golf courses, marinas and many activities.
Two 18-hole golf courses are a big draw for golfers, plus the resort has no end of activities on offer, like fishing, biking, swimming, tennis, inline skating and hayrides plus many more depending on the season. There are trails for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in winter. Nearby Pelican Lake is perfect for swimming in its clear waters and in winter you can enjoy ice fishing and ice skating.
Nature lovers can enjoy bird watching or take a drive along the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway a route with some of the best birding sites in the country. All year round you can enjoy the beaches, hiking the Paul Bunyan Trail and of course great entertainment and dining options at the resort.
