See the city on two wheels by renting a bike and riding leisurely along the Burlington Greenway. Stretching from the Oakledge park to the Winooski River, the journey is eight miles and connects most of the major parks in the city -- a perfect way to take in all the greenery Burlington has to offer in a short block of time.

Go sailing, fishing, or visit the lighthouse on Lake Champlain, or pop along to the ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center, with child-friendly exhibits to learn about the ecology of the lake. There are over 70 species of animals in the center, as well as interactive exhibits. For less water-based activities, check out the grand Vermont State House or stroll down Church Street Marketplace for shopping and restaurants.
