The nearby Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science houses over 3,000 fossils, including those of the Windover People and you can learn about how these ancient relics were discovered in an archaeological dig recreation.

The museum’s information plaques accurately depict the culture and traditions of Florida’s first inhabitants as well as the state’s diverse ecosystem, alongside about space exploration. As for the kids, they can proceed to the Imagination Center and re-enact a NASA shuttle launch. It’s a fun day out for all!

You can also visit the nearby Planetarium and Observatory located at Eastern Florida State College. At the observatory, you can view stars and neighboring planets from one of the telescopes.
