You are definitely going to want to check out the Old Fayette County Courthouse, it’s a must see and a great opportunity for everyone in your group curious about this area's history. Hiking The Ridge Nature Preserve is also a great option or you could shopping in Downtown Fayetteville, if you aren't real keen on the outdoors. One of more popular activities for the whole family is mini-golfing at Fun Spot America. Everyone in your group gets to spend time together and whoever wins gets to claim dominance (at least in mini-golf) for the next couple of months.

Although it is growing, Fayetteville is rather small so there are not many distinct neighborhoods. We will say though that Patriot Park is our favorite park in the area and staying around here would be nice.

The best time of year to visit Fayetteville is during the spring months. Georgia can be cold in the winter and blisteringly hot in the summer so that is why we encourage a trip in the springtime. Also during these months much of Georgia is covered in wildflowers.

There are some mouthwatering spots for foodies to sample in visiting Fayetteville. Broadway Diner which is known for having some of the best comfort food in the area. It is not unusual to see the place packed on the weekends for a hearty breakfast. If you love Mediterranean, then you’re going to want also to check out Franks at Old Mill Mediterranean Bar and Grill, which is a local favorite in Fayetteville.
