Enjoy the “Edge of America” and watch the sun set over the beach from a house rental in the heart of this charming town.

Families visiting Folly Island have to see the Morris Island Lighthouse which was built in 1876. This lighthouse, which once warned sailors of danger, has been decommissioned so the light no longer shines but the structure stays to remind visitors of the history of this coastal resort. The lighthouse sits just a few hundred feet from Charleston Harbor and is preserved by the State of South Carolina as a tourist attraction and a barrier is being built to protect it further.
