If you're visiting during the summer, you'll get to see the Georgia Mountain Fair along with a variety of musical performances in the Anderson Music Hall, as well as arts and crafts, a parade and a wonderful carnival. There is a fall version of the fair too, just ten days long but there are still shows, plenty of stalls and vendors, plus a fiddlers convention!
