Old Hilliard is the heart of the community and is a quaint neighborhood -- once transformed from an old train station and marking the starting point of the seven-mile Heritage Rail Trail. Here is also where you'll find the Hilliard Ohio Historical Village and the original train that used to run in the town. The Historical Village has a church, school and more, showing how people used to live and the roots of the community were founded.
The Early Television Museum is a wonderful museum dedicated to the history of the medium -- it's a fascinating look at the history of technology.
Hilliard additionally has a nice range of parks to spend some quiet time in. First Responders Park is a memorial park dedicated to the brave men and women who lost their lives during 9/11. Hilliard’s Station Park stands where what used to be Hilliard’s original town square. It's often where you can find community events going on like open-air concerts.
