Besides skiing in the winter, there is the newly-installed Aerial Tramway which whisks up to 60 people at once to the summit in just under eight minutes. Another exciting option is Montgomery Adventure Tours where you can learn the art of mushing during the winter months, and in the summer months, there is kayaking and canoeing trips on the North Forest CAnoe trail.

Another summer option are the swimming holes at Jay Peak Ara. There is nothing quite like a lazy summer day at a natural swimming hole. If you're a guest at the fabulous Coach house, you will receive passes to these swimming holes, which are on private land. Less than a mile away is the swimming hole at Four Corners, in nearby North Troy.

Alternatively, Jay and its nearby towns offer plenty of opportunities for golfing. The Mountain View Country Club in Greensboro, VT is a family friendly club originally opened in 1898. The club features a challenging par 35, 2,816-yard, nine-hole golf course that hugs the contours of its hillside location offering spectacular views of nearby Mount Mansfield and Caspian Lake. Besides the Mountainview, there is The Barton Golf Club, Jay Peak Golf Course, Orleans Country Club, and The Newport Country Club
