Alternatively, the Liberty Science Center is not far away, and is a great day out for families to learn from the interactive science exhibits. Elsewhere, the Empty Sky 9/11 Memorial is a powerful tribute to the tragic event and is a sobering reminder of NYC's recent history.
If you're planning a visit to Manhattan be sure to see the Statue of Liberty, the Metropolitan Museum of Arts, Central Park, and the Empire State Building (to name only a few places!).
