Things to Do in Kapaa

Haena Beach Park is a local hangout that visitors will love. There is a golden sandy beach, with lifeguards on duty for swimmers needing some peace of mind. The waves here are also perfect for surfing. For hiking trails, head on the Ke Ala Hele Makalae East Shore Beach Path. There are some beautiful views of the coast and the beach here. In addition, there is the Kauai Path to explore. For lookouts over Kapaa, the Sleeping Giant Trail is where to go. The Ho’olalaea Waterfall is also spectacular to see.

For good weather, the best time to visit Kapaa is from September to November. In addition, April to June are enjoyable in Kapaa.
