Manteo NC might be a tiny coastal city, however, there are many surprising attractions and activities awaiting visitors here. Mateo is a popular choice over neighbors like Nags Head and Sound Front because the vacation properties here offer not only views of the Roanoke Marshes, but often times hot tubs, full kitchens, and large pet-friendly living areas.
