It was built in 1930s and is now the best place to birdwatch in McAllen. Join one of the tours and observe the butterflies that migrate here. The international Museum of Art and Science is also popular, with exhibits to learn about the Rio Grande ecosystem, while over at the McAllen Heritage Center, you can learn about local history.
