Moses Lake has wonderful sand dunes, just perfect for exploring by foot or by off-road vehicle. Moses Lake itself offers plenty of water sports activities to take advantage of, or you can just swim and sunbathe on the sandy shores.There are also many parks and wild outdoor areas to explore near here. Potholes State Park is nearby with its own reservoir, popular with campers.

Kids will enjoy the Surf n Slip Water Park with its river for tubing and a surfing simulator.

Check out the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center where you can see the Adam East Collection of Native American artifacts, as well as local historical exhibits about Moses Lake plus a fine art gallery. Moses Lake is also home to a popular, seasonal Farmers Market and year round events and concerts. The Gorge Amphitheater is a huge 20,000-seat concert venue close to Moses Lake in George, Washington, above the Columbia River Gorge. It's worth seeing a concert here or just visiting for the panoramic and majestic views of the Columbia River and surrounding landscapes.
