New Haven is home to dozens of old churches, all in different architectural styles, so make sure to view all the great churches. Furthermore, spend some time outside in one of the many amazing parks of New Haven, such as the East Rock Park or Edgerton Park, which both offer nice trails, playgrounds, and relaxing spots. Edgerton Park also houses an open theatre venue each month. Moreover, for an amazing state park visit West Rock Ridge State Park where loop hiking trails, kayaking, canoeing, and bird watching await visitors. Lastly, go down to the harbour where you can take a nice walk along the water, get some seafood, and enjoy some quiet time in the parks.
