Vale de Lobo is a favorite beach for holidaymakers, lining the town’s coast with golden sands and calm waters. During the summer months, the beach is supervised by a lifeguard, while a promenade means the beach is accessible to all people.

Take a charter boat out on the waters and get a snippet of the town’s beautiful caves and fishing history. Travelers can sample the catch later at the mouthwatering seafood restaurants dotting the beachfront.

Quateria is also great for golfing, being only a short distance from some of Portugal’s best golf courses. Only a short drive away is the Victoria, the course used for the Portuguese Masters competition.
