Things to Do in Seven Devils North Carolina

One of the most popular wintertime destinations in the town of Seven Devils is the Hawksnest Snowtubing & Zip Line park located right in town. It has become one of the region's top destinations for family fun in the snow. Hawksnest Zip Line park is also one of the largest zip line attractions east of the Mississippi. Just a few minutes away is Otter Falls trails which offer smany paths as well as an observation deck with beautiful views of Otter Falls.

Just outside of Seven Devils is some of the most exciting mix of outdoor activities that the Southern Appalachians have to offer.

Close to the entrance to town is a super fun place for the family called the Grandfather Trout Farm. There are several sized ponds, and you get to keep (and cook) what you catch.

There are more hiking and scenic drives along the Blue Ridge Parkway, even in the winter season. Probably the most scenic portion is the Grandfather Mountain section of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Packing the whole family in the car and stopping at one of the many picnic areas along the way makes for a great outing. Other hiking paths on the Blue Ridge Parkway include Linville Falls, Rough Ridge, and Beacon Heights. Over at the Parkway Price lake, there is biking the Rocky Knob bike park and kayaking along the Boone Greenway. There is nearby family-friendly fun in Blowing rock at the Tweetsie Railroad where you can ride the train or enjoy a meal at one of the many eateries including the Cowboy Cantina.
