Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman is arguably the textbook definition of paradise. This long stretch of coral sand is pretty much what you visualize when you think of beach perfection. And in fact you would not be alone, for this place recently won The Caribbean’s best beach award from the Caribbean Travel and Life Magazine.
The beach is popular with travellers worldwide and is home to some of the Caribbean’s most incredible, luxurious homes. One of the best things about the beach is, the fact that you can stroll its length despite the bars and restaurants along the shore, for it’s open to the public.
Snorkelling and scuba diving are popular needless to say, with the turquoise dream-like waters home to tons of colorful fish, coral, and marine life. You can swim with and feed super friendly stingrays at Stingray city or choose to visit the Turtle Farm nearby and hold baby turtles.
Paddle boarding is popular here, easy to learn and a fun way to spend an afternoon exploring the waters. Or if you want to stay on dry land, rent a bike or join a group for a sunset horseback ride along the shore. -Dive into the recent past with a visit to the Kittiwake Shipwreck, an ex-US Navy ship that was purposefully sunk off the coast to create a fun dive and snorkel site. If you prefer pampering, then relax for the day at the spa on seven mile beach and soak up the glorious Caribbean chilled vibes. The main thing on your to do list here should be to chill out and enjoy paradise.
