Many of the homes boast both twin beds and a master bedroom with a queen bed.
Unless you look forward to visiting Saint Germain while being knee deep in snow, the best time to visit is usually during the fall. The temperature slowly drops between September and October, falling at the perfect temperature before descending into the cold temperatures of November and December. Summertime is also an excellent time to visit Saint Germain as the lakes become beach-like destinations worthy of sprawling and relaxing.
When it comes to dining, Saint Germain knows how to impress. The town is riddled with local cafes such as Wolf Pack Cafe and 3 C’s Coffee Cup Cafe, which serve hot coffee, baked goods, and homemade finger foods. The Timbers Bar and Grill, one of Saint Germain’s most popular bars, offers classic bar food and alcoholic beverages that are made with care and attention. The annual Arctic Warrior Race kicks winter into high gear for the residents and visitors of Saint Germain, offering a 5K/10K snowshoe race and a 5K/10K obstacle course, both of which guide participants around Little St. Germain Lake and into the depths of towering pine forests.
One of the best ways for visiting families to bond when in Saint Germain is with a visit to Elmer’s Fun Park -- a local fun center that features horseback riding, go-karts, mini golf, a bounce house, bumper boats, and tasty treats (not to mention a stunning view of the lake).
