Things to Do in Sundance

As Sundance is a mountain resort, of course one of the best things to do in the area is to enjoy hiking through the rugged scenery. Bridal Veil Falls Trail is a good trail for beginners, whereas Battle Creek Falls and Silver Lake are suited to more advanced trekkers. Skiing and snowboarding are obviously popular activities to participate in in the area. Slopes vary in difficulty depending on experience and classes are available for beginners and little ones.

Best Time to Visit Sundance

The months of December through to March are the best times to visit Sundance Utah since this is the height of ski season and snowfall fills the mountains with a soft white powder.

Relatively small crowds, great runs, and gorgeous scenery all contribute to Sundance being one of the best ski resorts in the western US. Located on 5,000 acres of wilderness at the base of Utah’s huge Mt. Timpangogos, there's so much to explore here. Sundance offers both alpine and cross country skiing in the mountains, as well as and jewellery-making and delicious food back in town.
